Job summary

Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. is seeking an experienced payroll professional to support our PROPEL transformation and oversee multi-state payroll operations.

You will serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring accurate tax, garnishments, and deductions while aligning with compliance requirements. Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll operations experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience with ADP payroll implementations, conversions, or transformations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax, wage-and-hour, garnishments, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Represent payroll operations during the PROPEL transformation and provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes.
• Participate in design workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution reviews to support future-state payroll operations.
• Document business requirements, operational procedures, process flows, and payroll control.
• Execute and support testing activities, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and payroll parallel testing.
• Analyze payroll calculations, taxes, deductions, earnings, and integrations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and business alignment.
• Identify, document, track, and help resolve system defects, testing issues, and payroll discrepancies.
• Partner with ADP, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to validate solutions, support integrations, and drive process improvements.
