Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve Notices and Corrections with precision in a high-volume environment. You will independently manage complex state and federal cases, prepare amended returns, and drive resolution with excellent documentation.

Ideal candidates have strong IRS/state knowledge, FPC certification, and experience in multi-state payroll taxes. This remote role offers flexible hours and a growth-first payroll tax career path.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience resolving state and federal notices.
• Experience preparing Form 941-X and W-2c amendments.
• Ability to research and resolve complex payroll tax issues independently.

Responsabilités

• Handle full-cycle payroll tax case work across notices and amendments.
• Research and resolve state and federal notices, meeting deadlines.
• Prepare agency responses with full supporting docs and accurate filings.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (941-X and state equivalents).
• Support correction workflows and document audit trails from start to finish.
• Maintain organized case documentation and prioritise SLA-driven workloads.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to SOP/KB updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
