Job summary

The role requires expertise with multi-state payroll, timekeeping, and compliance, with a preference for Rippling or similar HRIS platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience with end-to-end payroll processing.
• 2+ years of payroll leadership, supervision, or process ownership.
• Experience administering payroll for multi-state U.S. workforce.
• Experience handling hourly and salaried employee payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
• Experience with integrated payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping systems (Rippling preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll operations for U.S. employees across multiple states and locations.
• Administer Rippling payroll configurations and data; support testing.
• Review payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, and garnishments for accuracy.
• Manage payroll calendars, year-end activities, and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, IT, and external providers to resolve issues.
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements and dashboards.
