Job summary

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with five years of governmental accounting experience and three years supervisory experience preferred; FPC or CPP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates payroll activities and ensures accuracy in new hires, pay changes, and benefit deductions.
• Oversees electronic transfers of tax deposits and direct deposits.
• Prepares annual tax statements and supports the ACFR.
• Audits and reconciles with federal and state agencies.
• Acts as liaison between auditors and county agencies.
