Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a contract role with potential to convert to full-time in the Seattle area. You will process multi-state payroll for a large employee population, review hires and terminations, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate payroll data.

Responsibilities

• Processing multi-state payroll for a large employee population.
• Reviewing new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, and deductions.
• Researching and resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Preparing payroll reports and variance analysis.
• Partnering closely with HR, Finance, and operational teams.
• Maintaining payroll data integrity and system accuracy.
• Supporting payroll audits, controls, and compliance activities.
• Assisting with payroll system enhancements and process improvements.
