Talentify is seeking a Payroll Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations from its Carlsbad, CA location. This permanent, fully onsite role supports accounting and leadership to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, with responsibility for multi-state payroll and complex timekeeping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Full-cycle payroll processing including complex time sheets.
• Experience processing payroll for a manufacturing company with 100+ employees.
• Multi-state payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for ~100 employees across multiple states.
• Audit timecards, overtime, PTO, and payroll data.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Administer payroll deductions including benefits and 401(k).
• Process payroll adjustments and off-cycle checks.
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and year-end activities.
• Partner with HR and Accounting to improve payroll processes and controls.
