Qualifications

• 2–5 years payroll experience; multi-state payroll processing; working knowledge of FLSA/overtime; strong communication; high-volume environment; handle confidential data; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Processes all facets of payroll entries for Management Companies and Distribution Centers within required timeframes.
• Edits and reviews Kronos/Compass time records to resolve discrepancies.
• Calculates and processes retroactive pay.
• Processes manual/replacement checks and paid outs with accurate record keeping and bank updates.
• Verifies benefits time accruals and compliant payments.
• Processes legal checks and provides requested documentation.
• Loads payments to pay cards and handles deletions/reversals.
• Manages pay card distribution for stores and maintains payroll policies in line with regulations.
• Executes import of Kronos and Compass timekeeping systems.
• Trains junior payroll associates and provides customer service via phone and email.
• Interacts with internal and external auditors as needed.
