Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an experienced payroll lead to assist in all aspects of timely, accurate payroll processing for US and Canada, across stores, DCs and SSC. You will train junior staff, provide cross-functional support, and help maintain SOPs and controls.

Responsibilities include bi-weekly payroll runs, data validation, and reporting KPIs using Kronos, Compass, ADP and Workday. Strong communication and high-volume processing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-state payroll processing and regulatory compliance (state and federal).
• Ability to interpret and apply FLSA rules and overtime calculations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; high-volume processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Processes payroll for management companies, DCs and stores on time.
• Assist in training junior payroll associates and support with special projects.
• Provide customer service via phone and email; manage 30–50 emails daily.
• Ensure SOX compliance and maintain payroll SOPs.
