Job summary

XPO is seeking a Senior Specialist, Payroll to join our payroll team in Portland, Oregon. You’ll handle high-volume, multi-state payroll processing across multiple entities and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering accurate, timely pay to employees.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a CPP designation is preferred. Experience with Oracle, Kronos/UKG, SAP, and Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience processing high-volume, multi-state payrolls across multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage-and-hour laws, tax withholding and payroll best practices.
• CPP designation preferred; experience with Oracle, Kronos/UKG, SAP or equivalent systems is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills with data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve employee payroll inquiries in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Calculate, process, and distribute final paychecks and off-cycle payments.
• Monitor payroll alerts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Process Canadian ROE updates for employees on leave or who terminate.
• Maintain payroll records and update ACH returns and NOCs.
