Qualifications

• 7+ years' proven experience processing end-to-end payroll, preferably in a medium to large organization.
• Prior experience working in a multi-client environment is required.
• Expert knowledge of payroll systems: Paylocity, Paycor, UKG Ready/Pro, Ceridian Dayforce, ADP WFN, Paycom or Paychex.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices.
• Complex analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-starter with initiative and accountability.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent math and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, prepare, and produce accurate and timely payrolls for multiple clients in multiple locations.
• Check timesheets for accuracy and adjust pay for raises, bonuses, commissions, and severance.
• Review and validate payroll reports, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of client files and employee PII.
• Analyze payroll results and HR reports to answer questions and suggest actions.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from clients and employees.
• Process garnishments and coordinate payroll GL processing with accounting.
• Prepare time and labor files and input employee changes.
