The ideal candidate has 4+ years of multi-state payroll experience, strong knowledge of payroll systems (UKG UltiPro preferred), and a proven ability to analyze payroll data while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems. UKG (UltiPro) preferred.
• Understanding of federal and state payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for payroll reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high volume payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy in deductions, earnings, and taxes.
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll-related inquiries.
• Stay up to date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to manage benefits deductions and reporting.
• Assist in payroll audits and prepare necessary reports.
• Support process improvements and system upgrades for payroll efficiency.
