Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a payroll professional to manage client payroll data, ensure accuracy, and process payrolls for multiple clients. You will review and reconcile payroll details, prepare tax and deduction reports, and support client needs with strong communication.

The role requires ADP RUN experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while delivering excellent service and supporting implementation efforts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (experience may substitute).
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines across multiple clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Verify client payroll data within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payrolls timely to meet deadlines, update records, and calculate bonuses or severance.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions.
• Establish trusted client relationships and provide confident client consultation.
• Provide technical software support, identify out-of-scope work and new opportunities.
• Support implementation team and manage new client projects to ensure timeliness.
• Train clients on payroll processes as needed.
• Mentor newer staff and share knowledge to improve team capabilities.
