PANGEATWO is seeking a Payroll Specialist with ADP experience to support a diverse client portfolio in Birmingham, AL. This role handles sophisticated payroll processing, regulatory guidance, and process improvements to ensure accurate payroll operations.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in payroll, ADP proficiency, CPP/FPC preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills to coach teammates and deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive payroll processing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Experience processing complex, multi-state payrolls using ADP.

Responsibilities

• Process and review complex payrolls across multiple clients and industries with a high level of accuracy.
• Manage multi-state payroll processing, garnishments, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and other complex payroll scenarios.
• Review payroll completed by junior team members and provide coaching and technical guidance.
• Research and resolve payroll tax notices, agency correspondence, and compliance issues.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Serve as a trusted payroll resource for clients by providing guidance on payroll best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Handle sensitive payroll inquiries and resolve complex employee payroll issues.
• Mentor and train payroll team members while promoting best practices and continuous learning.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen quality controls.
• Assist with new client payroll implementations and onboarding activitiesStay current on legislative and regulatory changes affecting payroll administration
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and accurate payroll operations
