Job summary

A-LIGN is seeking a seasoned payroll professional to manage US payrolls and support international payrolls across Bulgaria, Ireland, India, Panama, and the UK. The role requires strong audit discipline, data integrity, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll experience, CPP certification, and proficiency with Workday and CloudPay. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in the Tampa area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including Earnings, Non-standard earnings, Taxes, Benefits, and Payments.
• Experience with multi-state payrolls preferred.
• CPP certification desired; CPP licensed preferred.

• Execute payroll processing tasks for A-LIGN’s United States operations
• Assist with international payrolls in Bulgaria, Ireland, India, Panama, and the UK
• Conduct regular audits of financial data across US payrolls

• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting tasks for the accounting department
• Prepare documentation and reconciliations for annual financial statement audits, benefit audits, and regulatory reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics or relevant education and experience


• At least 5 years of experience in payroll, including activities in support of Standard Earnings, Non-standard earnings, Taxes, Benefits, and Payments


• Preferred experience processing payroll for multi-state employees


• Preferred experience with Workday and CloudPay


• Currently possesses a certification; CPP Licensed preferred


• Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of motivation
