• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and reconciliation of general ledger accounts is a plus.
• Collaborate with HR/Benefits and cross-train with HR Manager to support payroll processes.

The Senior Payroll Specialist will manage weekly payroll operations for 1000+ multi-state employees and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate, timely processing of employee wages and deductions, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and accurate payroll recordkeeping.

This position will have the opportunity to grow into a Payroll Manager role within 2 years, with strong performance. This position is available due to continued company expansion.

This role requires excellent organizational and leadership skills. The Senior Payroll Specialist will work closely with internal team members across multiple locations to ensure time and pay records are accurate for weekly payroll processing.

Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements):

• At least 5 years of experience with the ADP Payroll System (Workforce Now) required
• Must have knowledge of multi-state payroll practices and compliance experience
• Must have advanced skills with Microsoft 365 with strong knowledge of Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and general ledger account reconciliation is a plus
• Ability to organize, self-motivate, time management, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality, honesty, and integrity. Build strong relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
• Must be able to work as a team and be willing to cross-train with the HR and Benefits Manager
