Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience managing multi-state payroll operations and payroll compliance.
• Experience leading payroll process improvement and system implementation initiatives.
• Paycor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a payroll team of eight to ten professionals with accountability and development focus.
• Provide strategic oversight for multi-state payroll processing and timely delivery.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure accuracy, productivity, compliance, and service.
• Manage escalations and complex employee issues as senior payroll contact.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, and agency leadership on payroll priorities.
