Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, HR, or related field is required.
• 5–7 years of payroll experience in multi-state environments.
• Experience with union payroll a plus and strong regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems for timely, accurate payroll transactions.
• Ensures updates for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes are processed on time.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices.
• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Generates reporting and analytics related to payroll and coordinates merit planning.
