Job summary

New Horizon Academy is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function across multiple states and entities, ensuring accurate, timely processing and strict compliance with wage laws. You will manage the payroll team, partner with Finance and HR, and own HRIS Paycom configurations, reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in a multi-state, multi-entity environment.
• Leadership experience managing a payroll team.
• Experience with HRIS Paycom preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all payroll processing across multiple states and entities.
• Review payroll audits, balances, adjustments, off-cycle payrolls, and year-end activities.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support budgeting and audits.
• Maintain payroll procedures, internal controls, and standard operating practices.
