Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the multi-state payroll for approximately 2,000 employees in a fast-growing company. You will manage processing of salaries, commissions, bonuses, and deductions while ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong analytical, communicational, and leadership skills to build rapport with internal customers and coordinate with the compensation team on merit planning and system improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of payroll processing, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems for salaries, commissions, bonuses, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions.
• Ensures timely processing of updates for new hires, terminations, and pay-rate changes.
• Prepares and maintains accurate payroll records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices.
• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Generates payroll data and analytics reports as needed.
• Coordinates with compensation team on annual merit planning processes.
• Identifies and recommends updates to payroll software, systems, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
