Job summary

Judi Health, LLC is seeking a Manager, Payroll in Denver to lead day-to-day payroll operations and own service delivery. You will lead a Payroll Analysts team and partner with HR, HR Technology, Benefits, and Finance to ensure accurate payroll services.

This role blends people leadership with hands-on payroll expertise, overseeing processing, reconciliations, audits, and continuous improvement of payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR, business or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience including complex payrolls.
• 2+ years leading or managing payroll professionals.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, wage and hour, deductions, and year-end processing.
• Experience with UKG or comparable enterprise platforms preferred.
• Experience with reconciliations, audits, controls and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Payroll Analysts with clear priorities.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and ensure on-schedule completion.
• Manage payroll calculations, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and related transactions.
• Review results and audits to resolve discrepancies before payroll completion.
• Maintain payroll processes, controls, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax requirements.
• Oversee payroll tax administration and jurisdictional setup.
• Collaborate with HRIS to troubleshoot system issues and improve automation.
• Coordinate with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Accounting on payroll data flow.
• Support year-end payroll activities and payroll audits.
