Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned Payroll Leader to manage the organization's payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of compensation. You will lead the payroll team, collaborate with People Practices and Finance, and drive policy interpretations, deductions, and system integrations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10–12 years of payroll management experience, and CPP certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 10-12 years of progressive payroll management experience including leading teams.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages end-to-end payroll operations with focus on accuracy and on-time processing.
  • Oversees payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, and filings per federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Leads, develops, and evaluates payroll team members for accuracy and professional growth.
  • Collaborates with People Practices and Finance on payroll policy interpretation, deductions, and system integrations.
  • Implements process improvements and technology enhancements to increase efficiency.
  • Oversees payroll audits, controls, and compliance initiatives to reduce risk.
  • Monitors legislative changes affecting payroll operations and updates procedures accordingly.
