Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a senior payroll leader to manage end-to-end payroll operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will lead the payroll team and collaborate with People Practices and Finance to implement policies and system enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have 10–12 years of progressive payroll experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a CPP certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
  • 10-12 years of progressive payroll management experience including leadership responsibilities.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages end-to-end payroll operations with accuracy and on-time processing.
  • Oversees payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, and filings per federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Leads, develops, and evaluates payroll team members for accuracy and growth.
  • Collaborates with people practices and Finance on policies, deductions, and system integrations.
  • Implements process improvements and technology enhancements to increase efficiency.
  • Oversees payroll audits, controls, and compliance initiatives to reduce risk.
  • Monitors legislative changes and updates procedures and systems accordingly.
