Eleven Western Builders in Escondido, CA is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee full-cycle payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. You will partner with HR and Accounting to deliver exceptional service and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities include processing payroll taxes, state filings, benefit deductions, audits support, and system enhancements. 5+ years payroll management, multi-state knowledge, and Excel mastery required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Experience managing multi-state payroll operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
• Experience with payroll and ERP systems such as Sage, NetSuite, ADP, BambooHR, or similar.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle payroll for multiple entities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax reporting, and deductions.
• Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and leadership to provide payroll service excellence.
• Prepare and remit payroll tax deposits and filings to authorities.

• Maintain payroll records and respond to employee inquiries.
• Monitor and improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
