Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

One of our clients in the hospitality industry is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to join their team in their New York City office. This role follows a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the weekly payroll process for the Americas.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert and owner of all payroll-related processes, ensuring consistent execution by the team to established standards.
• Ensure the accuracy of payroll financial data and compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, and other internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Tax teams to ensure secure, compliant payroll processing aligned with legal and regulatory standards.
• Lead payroll, benefits, and financial setup for new business openings in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Oversee weekly 401(k) funding and deferral changes; support the annual 401(k) financial audit.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in multistate payroll operations, with supervisory experience.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
