Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Ohio seeks a seasoned Payroll Manager to lead the payroll function for TIMET US, ensuring accurate biweekly and incentive payments. You will direct tax transmissions, compliance, and reporting.

The role requires at least 10 years payroll experience, strong numerical and analytical skills, and experience with SAP Payroll and MS Word/Excel. You will train staff, collaborate with corporate tax, and support audits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business field or related area.
• Minimum 10 years payroll experience.
• Minimum 4 years managerial experience.
• Experience with SAP Payroll preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience with W-2 preparation and payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure efficient operation of the payroll function and department, including biweekly and special incentive payrolls.
• Oversee payroll tax transmission to ADP Tax Services and respond to tax inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory reporting requirements.
• Prepare and reconcile W-2 documents; reconcile payroll bank accounts and related GLs.
• Resolve employee concerns regarding wage payments, deductions, and tax issues.
• Coordinate annual reports such as hours, profit sharing, DC/401(k).
• Support audits and relocation/ fringe benefits administration.
• Develop end-user payroll training and maintain user guides.
• Maintain payroll records for compliance and reporting; provide management reporting.
• Coordinate system testing for SAP/interface systems and SOX deadlines.
• Foster data integrity and customer service; communicate policy changes.
