Job summary

Precision Castparts in the United States is seeking a senior payroll professional to manage multi-state payroll across the Airfoils Division. You will audit payroll applications, administer 401(k) programs, and conduct benefits audits for accuracy.

The role also includes supervising payroll staff, coordinating year-end processing, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws. Strong analytical, training, and SOX audit skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or finance or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of high-volume payroll processing experience including 2,000+ employees.
• Experience with ADP payroll systems is required.
• Experience applying state and federal wage/hour laws to payroll.

Responsibilities

• Audit and manage multi-state payroll processing for the division.
• Supervise payroll staff and coordinate year-end processing and tax forms.
• Review payroll applications, 401K admin, and benefits audits for accuracy.
• Communicate deadlines and changes to locations; train team members.
• Perform SOX audits and collaborate with internal/external auditors.
• Prepare management reports and maintain confidentiality.
