Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across multiple states and entities. The role provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to the payroll team, and oversees tax, compliance, and new implementations within a complex payroll ecosystem.

You will partner with HR, Finance, Compliance, and vendors to deliver accurate, timely payroll and drive continuous process improvements in a global fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements, controls, and compliance practices.
• Experience leading multi-entity and multi-state payroll operations.
• Proven track record in full-cycle payroll processing, tax, reconciliations, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day payroll processing across multiple pay frequencies and states.
• Review and execute regular and off-cycle payrolls with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee complex payroll calculations, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Coordinate workload to meet payroll deadlines and service levels.
• Coach and develop the payroll team, establish clear expectations.
• Lead payroll tax processing and compliance across applicable regulations.
