Acrisure is seeking a Payroll Associate in Grand Rapids, MI to manage full-cycle payroll processing for multiple frequencies and entities. You’ll act as the main payroll contact for assigned units, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely pay outcomes, while maintaining data integrity across HRIS systems.

The role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with stakeholder support.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-state payroll processing or high-volume environments.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy in transactional work.
• Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience handling confidential information and maintaining data integrity.
• Proficiency with Excel (data validation, formulas, reconciliation).

Responsibilities

• Process assigned payrolls across multiple frequencies and entities.
• Serve as primary payroll contact for designated units and partners.
• Validate inputs: hours, earnings, deductions, tax elections, adjustments.
• Perform full-cycle payroll runs, off-cycle payments, and corrections.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and escalate when needed.
• Maintain payroll records and data integrity across HRIS/Payroll systems.
• Process commission payments and validate data with Finance.
• Support timekeeping corrections prior to processing.
