Job summary

LEAD Staffing in Tampa is seeking a Senior Payroll Processor to own the accurate, timely processing of high-volume, multi-state payroll across multiple LEAD entities — including prevailing wage and certified payroll work — in a deadline-driven environment.

You will work closely with a Junior Payroll Processor, coordinate with the support center team, employees, branch staff, and clients, and ensure compliance and quality service through strong communication and payroll expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience processing large-volume, multi-state payroll.
• Experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements.
• Proficient in Excel reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume, multi-state payroll (300+ employees) weekly across multiple LEAD Staffing entities.
• Prepare and file Certified Payroll reports for Davis-Bacon and state prevailing wage jobs.
• Build and maintain weekly payroll, production, and commission reports in Excel.
