Job summary

Addison Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Payroll Lead to join its payroll team. You will manage high-volume payroll for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and you will leverage advanced Excel for reporting.

The role requires strong multi-state payroll tax knowledge and experience with ADP Workforce Now, plus meticulous data analysis and process improvements. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience in a corporate or high-volume environment.
• Experience with multi-state payroll taxes and payroll laws.
• Ability to work with different state-specific payroll requirements and regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Experience with high-volume payroll environments and ADP Workforce Now.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple tax jurisdictions or IDs.

Responsibilities

• Process and support high-volume payroll for a large, multi-state workforce.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Research and resolve multi-state payroll tax and compliance issues.
• Apply knowledge of varying state payroll laws and regulations, especially complex ones.
• Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and assist with corrections and reconciliations.
• Use advanced Excel for payroll reporting, analysis, audits, reconciliations, and data validation.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process and maintain payroll information.
• Help maintain accurate employee and payroll records and support process improvements.
• Stay current on changes to payroll tax laws and regulations.
