Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience across multiple states.
• Experience managing payroll for large organizations (6,000+ associates).
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll software (UKG, ADP).
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently with high-volume workloads.

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end weekly payroll lifecycle for 6,000+ associates.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with evolving payroll laws.
• Manage deductions, benefits, and 401(k) contributions.
• Research and resolve escalated payroll disputes.
• Design audit procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Lead year-end payroll processing and reporting.
• Manage special projects to improve efficiency.
