DISCO Hi-Tec America, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of our payroll function onsite. The role supports ~260 US employees and oversees international payroll via EOR arrangements, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging advanced Excel skills to analyze and report payroll data to HQ in Japan, while supporting company-wide payroll initiatives and improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of federal and state payroll laws.
• Detail-oriented with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Japanese skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mange end to end U.S. payroll cycle for ~260 employees.
• Oversee payroll for employees in 2 international locations via EOR.
• Generate payroll reports, reconcile data and analyze figures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and report financial payroll statements to HQ in Japan.
