Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage complex, bi-weekly payroll processing in ADP and ensure compliance with labor contracts and state/federal rules. You will validate hours, apply union pay rules, and support the Payroll Manager with reconciliation and reporting.

Your role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and discretion handling confidential information, with experience in garnishments, tax withholding, and benefits deductions.

Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll in ADP and strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with collective bargaining agreements and union contracts.
• Payroll reconciliation and auditing experience.
• Knowledge of garnishments, tax withholding, and benefit deductions.
• Level 1 Background check; Seven-year criminal background investigation; Social Security verification; Sex offender registry check; Must pass a 5-panel drug screen.
