Job summary

OneAmerica Financial in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Payroll Consultant to oversee HR master data, timekeeping, and payroll processing with a focus on accuracy and compliance. You will lead audits, ensure policy and legal compliance, and collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Internal Audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required.
• 4+ years of direct Payroll, HR Service Center, and/or Ledger/Accounting/Tax experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit/Compliance: Manage quality and audits related to data entry, data intake, and payroll processing to ensure policy and legal compliance.
• Operational: Manage banking, perform adjustments with accounting, act as backup for payroll processing and payment tracking.
• Expertise: Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, FLSA, and state/local laws.
