Job summary

OneAmerica Financial is hiring a Payroll Consultant to ensure accuracy and compliance across HR master data, timekeeping and payroll processing. Hybrid work in Indianapolis, IN with potential office presence as needed. The role emphasizes audits, proper data handling and collaboration with Finance, Tax, Legal, and External auditors.

Required: college degree and 4+ years in payroll or related fields; preferred: FPC/CPP designation. Benefits include comprehensive rewards and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in payroll, HR service center, and/or ledger/accounting/tax roles.
• Experience with data governance, audits, and compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, and External/Internal Audit teams.

Responsibilities

• Audit and ensure accuracy of data entry, intake and payroll processing.
• Manage banking activities, adjustments with accounting, and payroll processing backup.
• Maintain compliance with ACA, ERISA, FLSA and state/local laws.
• Collaborate with vendors, Finance, Tax, Legal and Internal Audit.
