Job summary

Quaise Energy is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll across a multi-state workforce, including bonuses, equity events, and relocations. You will drive Paycom implementation and maintain strong controls in a fast-growth energy tech environment.

You will partner with HR, Finance and Accounting, ensure compliance with FLSA and tax laws, and deliver analytics, audits, and reports to leadership. Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience required; CPP preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience in multi-state environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or related field preferred.
• Paycom implementation/administration experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and wage/hour laws.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees across states.
• Ensure accurate, on-time payroll and payroll-related tax reporting.
• Maintain payroll controls, reconciliations, and SOX-ready documentation.
• Lead Paycom implementation and system optimization with HR and Finance.
• Provide payroll guidance to employees and managers.
