ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems—a global leader in automated door solutions—seeks a Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and benefits administration across the US and Canada. The role reports to the Payroll and Benefits Manager and emphasizes compliance, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in payroll/benefits, knowledge of certified and prevailing wages, and experience with HCM systems like ADP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR or Business Administration.
• 4–7 years of payroll and benefits management experience.
• Knowledge of certified and prevailing wage requirements.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or Payworks (HCM systems).
• Multi-state and multi-provincial payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports and ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
• Support US/Canada payroll weekly/biweekly entry and reporting.
• Audit payroll data regularly to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with wage/hour laws, tax regulations, and union agreements.
• Provide payroll/benefits support and respond to employee questions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration
