ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Monroe, NC is seeking a Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to lead accurate payroll processing (including certified payrolls) and manage benefits administration. The role reports to the Payroll and Benefits Manager and requires 4–7 years of related experience.

You will partner with HRIS, Accounting, and Operations, ensure compliance with wage laws, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration.
• 4–7 years of experience in payroll and benefits management.
• Knowledge of certified and prevailing wage is required.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and U.S./Canada payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; strong data integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports and ensure prevailing wage compliance.
• Support weekly/biweekly payroll processing and benefit administration.
• Audit payroll data for accuracy and integrity; ensure wage and hour compliance.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Accounting, and Ops to streamline data flows.
• Provide employee support on time, attendance, and benefits inquiries.
