Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or related field.
• CPP certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Payroll & Benefits Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with ADP/Paychex and MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update payroll records and benefits data.
• Prepare payroll reports for management and employees.
• Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
• Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries with professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Coordinate with HR and finance to reconcile payroll and benefits data.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities (W‑2s).
