The role demands expert ADP ( Workforce Now ), Workday proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and meticulous handling of multi-state payroll along with confidentiality and strong partner collaboration with Finance and HR.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of payroll experience.
• Strong experience with ADP, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
• Experience with Workday.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience managing multi-state payroll in a complex organization.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using ADP.
• Communicate directly with ADP to resolve payroll issues.
• Prepare manual and off-cycle payroll payments.
• Record payroll activity and reconcile journal entries in Workday.
• Manage payroll-related items including fringe benefits, deductions, and 401(k) elections.
• Reconcile monthly payroll bank statements.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding payroll questions and issues.
• Support annual payroll and corporate audits.
• Partner with Finance and HR on payroll-related projects and initiatives.
• Assist with various ad hoc payroll and accounting responsibilities.
