Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to own core payroll processes in Workday and manage multi-jurisdiction tax compliance using ADP SmartCompliance. You will work closely with finance and People teams, delivering accurate bi-weekly payroll and responsive employee support.

The role requires 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Knowledge of state and local withholding tax is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP SmartCompliance for tax filings and wage garnishments.
• Knowledge of US federal, state and local withholding tax requirements.
• Strong attention to detail in a high-volume payroll environment.
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction payroll in Workday.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll end-to-end in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and deadlines.
• Serve as the payroll point of contact for employee questions and requests.
• Ensure timesheets are approved before processing and reconcile data with HR submissions.
• Verify changes in HR submission files are reflected in Workday.
• Prepare payroll reports for annual financial audits.
