Job summary

Lam Research in Austin, TX is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support the centralized Payroll Team. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, liaise with vendors, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

You’ll work in a fast-moving environment, handling complex transactions, data analysis, and training teammates to ensure quality service for thousands of Lam employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related payroll experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Experience processing for large populations (4,000+ employees).
• Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and payroll reporting.
• Solid understanding of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
• Serve as liaison to employees and third-party payroll vendors.
• Audit pay records and reconcile totals by department/location.
• Interpret pay policies and apply deductions correctly.
• Maintain payroll procedures and train staff as needed.
• Drive process improvements and support audits and compliance.
