Job summary

Lam Research seeks a full-time exempt Payroll professional to join the Global Finance Group and Payroll Team. You will manage the full payroll lifecycle for the US employee population, ensuring accurate processing and policy compliance in collaboration with third-party vendors.

The role requires strong analytical skills, independent judgment, and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees acceptable with experience.
• CPP or FPC payroll certification preferred.
• Experience processing payroll for large populations (4,000+).
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local payroll laws.
• Proficient with ADP Workforce Now and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own full payroll life cycle for US employees and managers.
• Coordinate with third-party payroll vendors and ensure policy compliance.
• Audit payroll records and reconcile by department/location/country.
• Interpret pay policies and apply deductions correctly.
• Stay current on federal/state wage and hour regulations.
• Provide training and back-up support for payroll tasks.
• Develop SOPs and drive payroll process improvements.
