Beacon Hill is seeking a Payroll Analyst to prepare, analyze, and distribute payroll for an assigned division. The role emphasizes strong Excel capabilities, data analysis, and payroll experience across multiple states, including union and non-union staff.

The position requires processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll, validating data, and ensuring SOX-compliant controls. You will collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT to resolve issues and support year-end processing.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• 4+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Preferably experience in a larger company.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for assigned divisions (union, hourly, salaried).
• Enter and validate payroll data including timesheets and adjustments.
• Analyze, validate, and reconcile payroll data using Excel.
• Ensure federal and state compliance for terminated employees and payroll records.
• Perform general ledger reconciliation and support accounting documentation.
