Job summary

Atrium Staffing seeks aPayroll Analyst to support U.S. and international payroll operations, primarily biweekly US payroll for 3,000+ employees in Workday. Collaboration with Global Payroll Director and HR/Finance is essential to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing.

This role requires deep payroll expertise, independent work, and strict data confidentiality. Backup support for Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica is included to sustain global payroll operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Extensive experience with Workday Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxation and compliance.
• Experience conducting payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Ability to independently manage payroll responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely biweekly multi-state payroll for 3,000+ employees using Workday from start to finish.
• Audit payroll data including hours, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings before transmission.
• Reconcile payroll data prior to transmission and validate reports after payroll completion.
• Process off-cycle payrolls for terminations, corrections, bonuses, and other adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws at federal, state, and local levels.
• Administer garnishments, liens, and other deductions.
• Support year-end payroll activities including W-2 reconciliation and distribution.
• Research and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
