Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area is seeking a full-time Payroll Analyst 3.

You will perform advanced payroll analysis, reconciliations, and research to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations across multiple states. You will lead payroll projects, develop scalable reporting solutions, collaborate with ADP and UKG as needed, review tax and garnishment processes, and provide coaching to junior staff while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll experience or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient to advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and HR/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in payroll processing, time/attendance, systems and compliance.
• Perform advanced payroll analysis and reconciliations across cycles.
• Investigate complex payroll discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Ensure compliance with HR legislation and Garmin policies with oversight.
• Ensure payroll tax procedures comply with government regulations.
• Collaborate with ADP and respond to tax notices or audits.
• Review administration of garnishments, child support orders, and levies.
• Assist with month-end journal entries and budgeting inquiries.
• Develop advanced reporting using software reporting tools.
• Lead payroll projects and drive process improvements.
• Maintain procedures and process documentation.
• Protect confidentiality of employee compensation data.
• Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced team members.
