The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Payroll Specialist to oversee accurate and timely TRS reporting for faculty and staff. You will manage payroll records, perform complex analyses, and coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure precise data and compliant processing.

Responsibilities include deduction reviews, benefit imports, ACH reversals, and supporting audits. Strong regulatory knowledge and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus experience or equivalent experience as defined.
• Prefer CPP certification and higher education setting experience.
• Experience with TRS reporting and TEXNET processing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manages TRS reporting for university employees and retirees.
• Prepares payroll records and processes monthly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Reviews deductions for retirement and benefits; adjusts as needed.
• Collaborates with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data.
• Submits ACH reversal requests and prepares net pay adjustments.
• Supports audits and ad hoc requests from leadership.
