Job summary

Airshare seeks a Senior Payroll Accountant to oversee accurate, timely payroll for a multi-state workforce. You will handle payroll tax administration, year-end activities, and compliance, while collaborating with Payroll Manager and HR.

This on-site role is based at Airshare’s corporate headquarters in Overland Park, KS. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, expertise with Paycom or similar platforms, and strong analytical and communication skills, with CPP or FPC

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including hands-on multi-state payroll administration.
• Experience with payroll tax registrations, account setup and maintenance, tax notices, and federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support accurate and timely processing of regular, off-cycle, bonus, and special payroll runs.
• Research and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Lead setup and maintenance of payroll tax accounts and registrations for multi-state workforce.
• Prepare payroll reports, schedules, and supporting detail for payroll accounting and month-end close.
