Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with production services.
• Proficiency in Go and building scalable, low-latency APIs.
• Experience owning features end-to-end in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with financial systems or high-volume transactional systems.
• Ability to use AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend services for payment processing using Go.
• Own end-to-end delivery of payment features from design to production deployment.
• Build platform primitives and self-serve APIs for other teams to add payment methods/rails.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate requirements into plans.
• Drive improvements to reliability, observability, and performance across payment services.
• Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews and best-practice advocacy.
