Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend services for payment processing using Go.
• Own end-to-end delivery of payment features from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Build platform primitives and self-serve APIs for other Coinbase teams to add payment methods.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance across payment services and resolve bottlenecks.
• Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews and best-practice advocacy.
